The Pq330-TC

Part of the original PowerQuick collection, the PQ330-TC was designed for military and police tactical applications.  It also operates like a personal elevator for those times when just getting up and down from a work site or moving equipment is important.

Rope

  • Use with 7/16" static (low stretch) kernmantle or spectra rope (PMI &  New England brand ropes recommended)
  • Can be configured to fit rope sizes 8mm-12.7mm​

Safety Features

  • Tested to a safety factor of 4x the rated load
  • Will not slip on rope @ 2x the rated load
  • Temperature sensor shuts unit down in event of motor temperature exceeding 85°C
  • Interlock switch on cover ensures that unit will not operate if rope handler cover is not properly closed
  • Remote control overrides local control
  • Rope cannot be removed from ascender when it is under a load 
  • Auto-braking in hands-off position provides for both locked-off and emergency or panic lockoff. No force need be applied for panic lockoff
  • Load limiter:  “Lift mode” prevents lifting of load in excess of 450 lbs (204 kg)  
  • Static Load/Stationary holding capacity: 1300 lbs (590kg)
  • Dynamic load capacity: 1,650 lbs (750 kg) —Must survive and hold the rated load after a 0.6 meter drop test in accordance with CSA Z-259 or ANSI-Z359-4
  • Forward reverse power control
  • Noise level below 70dba at 3 meters
  • Low voltage sensor detects low battery voltage and shuts unit down.  PQ330 level is 33 VDC, 
  • No pinch points
  • No sharp edges, points, etc., capable of puncturing or cutting the skin
  • Accessible surface temperature do not exceed 65° C
